AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has signed a contract extension with the Rossoneri which will keep him at San Siro until 30 June 2014.
Allegri took charge of Milan in summer 2010 and led them to their first Scudetto title in seven years during his first season in charge. The 44-year-old's contract was due to expire in June but with Milan joint top of Serie A alongside Juventus and through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, the former Cagliari Calcio coach has agreed a new deal.
The Rossoneri host Arsenal FC in the round of 16 with the first leg to be played on 15 February before the return in London on 6 March. Before that they have the more pressing matter of a derby showdown with FC Internazionale Milano on Sunday.
