A week on Saturday the Fußball Arena München will welcome its first UEFA Champions League final but the city has previous with this competition.

In all, three European Cup finals have been played in Munich at the old Olympiastadion – which will stage Thursday's UEFA Women's Champions League final. And the venue was the location for the first UEFA Champions League decider as Olympique de Marseille memorably defeated AC Milan 1-0.
