Julen Lopetegui, Porto coach
Ambition and imagination are two words we have in mind. I'd like to remind everyone that we didn't win a ticket to this competition; we had to earn it. We are here, proud and happy to be playing among the best teams in Europe at this stage of the Champions League.

We want to be the main performers tomorrow while maintaining respect for our opponents. We are talking about one of the best Bayern sides in the club's history. Bayern have injuries but will still have seven or eight world champions on the pitch. We don't care about the players they don't have. We have to focus on the ones that will play.

I feel the same way Guardiola does about facing me. There is a lot of respect between us. Bayern want possession and usually they get it. We have to take good care of the ball, use it perfectly. We have to be great in attack and defence.

My first Champions League memory: Manuel Neuer

Josep Guardiola, Bayern coach
Porto are one of Europe's great teams and they have a really good coach in Lopetegui. They like to play open football and their front men have a lot of technical ability; that is one of their strongest points – individual quality.

They will want to play from the back, to have the ball then use the likes of Quaresma and Brahimi on the wings. They have very good players in midfield like Quintero, Herrera and Casemiro. Herrera is a fantastic player who is having a fantastic season. He looks slow but is very powerful – one of their best players. Brahimi is a great player too.

We are lucky to be here, Lopetegui and I. When we were young we never thought about being here, as coaches of two great teams in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. I'm happy to see the campaign he is enjoying with Porto – he hasn't lost yet. Porto have been in the Champions League for 20 years now, they have to be respected.
