Unai Emery, Sevilla coach
Manchester City are top of the Premier League and are going to demand a lot of us. Our only option is a win if we are to get through to the next phase. We did well in Manchester but lost. We have to improve those aspects of the game that prevented us winning there. It will be very difficult – [Group D rivals] Juventus and Manchester City are in with a chance of getting to the final and winning it.

A draw is not a bad result but we will think about victory from the start. We are going to prove that we are a team with a lot of quality. I think we can play it several ways: we can play without attackers or with four forwards. Our players can play in different positions but we always have the same aim: to win matches.

The most important thing now is to get to the next round as soon as possible. We have a great team, and many injuries, but we are in a good moment and I hope we continue to improve.

Although Sevilla are yet to win away from home this season, Emery's charges have prevailed in four of their last five in all competitions at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán – including against Barcelona. The injury picked up by Kevin Gameiro on Saturday is a major blow, while Emery also continues to struggle to find an alternative for whenever Éver Banega – doubtful for Tuesday – is absent.
