Hapoel Beer-Sheva v Celtic
• Hapoel Beer-Sheva 2-1 Hapoel Ra'anana (Sahar 11, Radi 42; Mihelič 74pen)
Beer-Sheva, beaten 5-2 by Celtic in their play-off first leg, got the defence of their Israeli title off to a victorious start.
• St Johnstone 2-4 Celtic (Swanson 83pen, McLean 89; Griffiths 28, Sinclair 40, Forrest 44, Christie 90+2)
Leigh Griffiths marked his 26th birthday with the opener as Celtic recorded their fifth successive win in all competitions. James Forrest scored the pick of the Hoops' goals, dribbling from halfway and beating keeper Alan Mannus with the outside of his right boot.
Viktoria Plzeň v Ludogorets Razgrad

Zlín condemned Plzeň to their first league loss of the campaign and, after defeat in Razgrad, a second 2-0 reverse in four days.
• Ludogorets 2-0 Montana (Shokolarov 4, Keșerü 54)
Claudiu Keșerü's goal sealed Ludogorets' fourth win in their last five fixtures.
Monaco v Villarreal
• Nantes 0-1 Monaco (Boschilia 25)
Gabriel Boschilia settled matters with a curling free-kick, moving Monaco on to four points from two Ligue 1 contests in 2016/17. Leonardo Jardim made eight changes to the side that started the 2-1 midweek triumph at Villarreal, Danijel Subašić, Benjamin Mendy and Kamil Glik the only players to retain their places.

Samuel Castillejo's strike was swiftly cancelled out as both teams settled for a point in their Liga curtain-raiser.
Roma v Porto
• Roma 4-0 Udinese (Perotti 65pen 75pen, Džeko 82, Salah 84)
Diego Perotti converted two penalties, awarded for fouls on Edin Džeko and Mohamed Salah respectively, as Roma emphatically won their Serie A opener. Full-back Bruno Peres, a summer signing from Torino, made his Giallorossi debut as one of five alterations to the team that drew 1-1 with Porto on Wednesday.

André Silva was on target for the third consecutive match, ensuring Porto followed up their opening-day success at Rio Ave with another three points.
Legia Warszawa v Dundalk

The hosts' indifferent early-season form continued. Besnik Hasi's men have won just one of their last six in all competitions.

Rostov v Ajax

Iranian international Saied Ezatolahi, 19, doubled Rostov's lead as they registered their first victory in four games.
• Ajax 1-2 Willem II (Klaassen 1; Falkenburg 28, Fan Sol 31)
A goal up after 23 seconds, Ajax suffered their first defeat in any competition since 13 December.
Manchester City v Steaua Bucureşti
• Stoke City 1-4 Manchester City (Krkić 49pen; Agüero 27pen 36, Nolito 86 90+5)
Sergio Agüero took his tally to six goals in three matches this term. On target three times in Bucharest on Tuesday – when he also failed to convert two penalties – the Argentina forward set City en route to their second victory in as many Premier League fixtures under Josep Guardiola.

The first Bucharest derby of the season ended all square, the visitors having Steliano Filip dismissed late on.
Salzburg v Dinamo Zagreb
• Salzburg 3-1 Mattersburg (Minamino 49, Lainer 88, Laimer 90+1; Röcher 76)
Salzburg were set to drop points for the third time in five Austrian Bundesliga outings this season until defender Stefan Lainer put them 2-1 up with two minutes remaining.
• Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Split (Antolić 63)
The leaders had to be patient before securing a fourth consecutive Prva Liga victory, Domagoj Antolić finally breaking through against a Split side yet to win this term.
Mönchengladbach v Young Boys
• SV Drochtersen/Assel 0-1 Mönchengladbach (Korb 55)
Julian Korb's close-range finish was sufficient for Gladbach to progress to the second round of the German Cup.
• Young Boys 7-2 Lausanne (Hoarau 2, Ravet 30, Schick 37, Sutter 49, Lecjaks 59, Kubo 68, Frey 90+1; Campo 40, Pak 76)
Six days after winning 6-0 at Veltheim in the Swiss Cup, Young Boys went one better in the goals stakes. It is the second time YB have managed seven at home in the Swiss Super League this year, having beaten Lugano 7-0 on 9 April.
