#UCLFantasy: Captain Marvel

Double points on offer for the captain – so who are the leading contenders for the armband this week?

Edinson Cavani (FW, €11.1m)
Paris's top scorer this season has now struck in seven consecutive UEFA Champions League matches and will be hungry to extend that run as Group B stragglers Anderlecht visit the Parc des Princes. The third most productive #UCLFantasy forward so far this season, Cavani keeps proving his worth on all fronts, having recently buried a superb late free-kick away to Marseille that maintained his side's unbeaten start to the campaign.

Mohamed Salah (FW, €9.6m)

After scoring two and setting up another in Liverpool's 7-0 victory over Maribor on matchday three, the Egyptian took his overall tally for the season to nine goals with a consolation in the Reds' 4-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur. It would take a brave man to bet against Salah continuing his rich vein of form against the Slovenian side at Anfield.

Edin Džeko (FW, €10.5m)
Given his performance in London – and first career goals against Chelsea – do not discount the Roma striker as your captain this week. He may have failed to find the back of the net in his past three Serie A outings, but with four of his seven Serie A strikes coming at home this season, he will be keen to register his first UEFA Champions League goal at the Stadio Olimpico this season.

Jan Oblak (GK, €6.0m)
Atlético Madrid are renowned for their watertight back line and at the heart of that is Oblak, who'll be looking to hold Qarabağ at bay. The Slovenian has kept three clean sheets in his last five outings for the Rojiblancos and has saved six of the last ten penalties he has faced.

Cristiano Ronaldo (FW, €12.1m)
With five in his last four games against Tottenham, and five goals thus far in the UEFA Champions League, Ronaldo might be the obvious choice, but he is also the logical pick too. With the added spice of Spurs playing their home games at Wembley this season, the No7 is sure to want to light up one of football's great stages yet again.

Radamel Falcao (FW, €9.5m)
The Monaco skipper is a must-buy, provided he overcomes the thigh injury that ruled him out of the weekend league game at Bordeaux. The Colombian international ended a 439-minute UEFA Champions League drought against Beşiktaş on matchday three and the leading scorer in the French league has struck 13 goals in nine domestic appearances this campaign.

Cenk Tosun (FW, €8.1m)
With three goals and an assist to his name, the Beşiktaş forward is flying high in the UEFA Champions League and will be eager to add to his tally on a night where qualification is within his side's grasp. With 21 points after three games, Cenk Tosun is in the top ten for players with the most #UCLFantasy points this season.

Eden Hazard (MF, €10.5m)
In terms of Chelsea captaincy options, it's hard to look beyond the Belgian, who has accrued 18 points already, with an assist against Atlético Madrid followed by a double against Roma on matchday three. Scored the winner against Bournemouth on Saturday too.

Dele Alli (MF, 9.0m)
With Harry Kane a fitness doubt, Alli is a Tottenham option worth considering. Don't be fooled by the England midfielder having picked up no points so far this term: the 21-year-old will be eager to impress against Real Madrid, having missed Spurs' opening three UEFA Champions League games through suspension, and has found the net in his side's last two games at Wembley.

David de Gea (GK, €6.0m)
An impressively consistent performer, the goalkeeper was barely troubled when United won at Benfica on matchday three and has conceded only one goal in three games so far in the UEFA Champions League. Moreover, he has kept eight clean sheets in his last ten games for club and country.

Marc-André ter Stegen (GK, €6.0m)
Only Lionel Messi has played as much this season, and Ter Stegen has conceded only four times in his 13 matches, including only one in the UEFA Champions League. He's now having to make lots of crucial saves and doing so superbly, and also has a good penalty record.
