#UCLfantasy: Captain Marvel

Who gets the armband on matchday five? We run the rule over the usual suspects and some new names.

Mohamed Salah (FW, €9.7m)
It's hard to look beyond Salah when it comes to Liverpool’s captaincy options. The Egyptian, on 26 #UCLFantasy points, has scored eight goals and provided two assists in his last six outings. He has also found the net in three of the Reds' four Group E games so far, including the opener against Maribor on matchday four.

Gonzalo Higuain (FW, €10.5m)
The Argentinian was suggested as an attacking option for matchday four despite only scoring two goals in nine games. The Juve No9 didn't disappoint. He has now scored in four consecutive games for the Old Lady, five goals in total, and in this form he can be lethal against any team. Barcelona included.

Álvaro Morata (FW, €10.0m)
A guaranteed starter, Morata is prime Fantasy captain material in the Chelsea squad. The Spaniard ended a three-game domestic goal drought by finding the net against Manchester United prior to the international break, and followed that with a goal against Costa Rica. Back to full fitness and facing a Qarabağ side that conceded six at Chelsea on matchday one.

Quincy Promes (MF, €7.2m)
The Spartak Moskva midfielder's value has risen by €0.1m each week, and has 22 points so far. The Dutch international has scored seven goals and made five assists in 13 Premier League starts this season, adding a further two goals and two assists in his three UEFA Champions League outings. Spartak host Maribor and will need to attack to get a positive result.

Neymar (FW, €11.2m)
If there is one player Celtic are sure to fear above all, it has to be Neymar. The Paris star seems to relish taking on the Bhoys and has conjured up five goals and seven assists in five previous meetings. The scourge of the Scottish champions during his Barcelona days, Neymar carried on where he left off with a goal and decisive pass for Kylian Mbappé at Celtic Park in September.

Christian Eriksen (MF, €8.5m)
Following his hat-trick heroics for Denmark during the international break and with his apparent imperviousness to rotation, Eriksen is well worth considering for Tottenham's trip to Dortmund. The attacking midfielder picked up an assist against the Bundesliga outfit on matchday one at Wembley, and also found the net against Real Madrid last time out. Included in only 5% of squads, Eriksen is also a tempting differential for those needing a boost.

David de Gea (GK, €6.0m)
His everyday excellence means he is a solid pick as captain – Manchester United have conceded only one goal in four matches in Group A and he made a couple of world-class saves to frustrate Benfica on matchday four.

Cenk Tosun (FW, €8.2m)
The Beşiktaş striker has managed four goals and assisted another in four appearances this season. He has returned 27 points; only three forwards have managed more (Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane). He has told us he wants to add to his tally, so don't expect Cenk to slow down.

Radamel Falcao (FW, €9.5m)
Tuesday is all set to be the Colombian international's stage.  After a terrific goal against Beşiktaş in Monaco's last UEFA Champions League home game the 31-year-old has no choice but to lead by example in a must-win fixture. Falcao has made Ligue 1 defences quake, scoring 13 goals this season and now it is RB Leipzig's turn to suffer.

Thomas Partey (MF, €4.9m)
The Ghanaian midfielder started the season on the periphery of Atlético's first team but has forced his way into Diego Simeone's first XI. He has scored three times in his last five outings, including a stunning effort against Qarabağ on matchday four. His low prices allows heavy investment elsewhere without compromising on output.

Sergio Agüero (FW, €10.5m)
City's new record scorer sat out Saturday’s win at Leicester so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him back in action against Feyenoord. He has ten goals already this term and given the way Pep Guardiola's men are carving defences open, opportunities to increase that tally should be forthcoming on Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo (FW, €12.2m)
It may sound like a broken record, but with six goals in four games this season, the UEFA Champions League all-time top scorer is the logical choice. With Real Madrid fighting it out for top spot, they will be needing the Portuguese in top form if they are to usurp Tottenham.
