The UEFA Champions League play-offs are set to kick off on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the six remaining group stage places up for grabs. Ahead of the first legs, click on each of the fixtures for our in-depth match background.

The six play-off winners will join the 26 automatic entrants in the UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco at 18:00CET on Thursday 30 August. The defeated teams transfer to the UEFA Europa League group stage, the draw at 13:00CET on Friday 31 August.
