Kezman close to Chelsea move

Chelsea FC have agreed a fee with PSV Eindhoven for Serbia and Montenegro striker Mateja Kezman.

Finalising deal
The 25-year-old will travel to London next week to finalise personal terms, undergo a medical and apply for a work permit. During four seasons in the Netherlands, Kezman has scored 105 goals in 122 games, also making 18 UEFA Champions League appearances in the process. He has played for his country 32 times, scoring ten goals.

Kenyon delight
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon said: "We are delighted to have agreed terms with PSV for Mateja. He is one of the top strikers in Europe and will be an excellent addition to our squad and team."

Mourinho plans
Kezman would be the second new signing for new Chelsea FC manager José Mourinho, who has already agreed to buy Portuguese international defender Paulo Ferreira from his former club FC Porto.
