The 28-year-old defender has fallen out of favour at the Delle Alpi since the arrival of coach Fabio Capello last summer. He has failed to make a single first-team appearance this term, in comparison with 21 matches played last season.
Fresh start
Legrottaglie now hopes to relaunch his career with Bologna. The centre-back has seven Italy caps but has not featured in the Azzurri squad since last September due to his limited opportunities in Turin. Bologna are currently 14th in Serie A.
