Lazio pounce for Atalanta pair

S.S. Lazio have completed the signings of Ousmane Dabo and Luciano Zauri from Atalanta BC.

Exchange deal
The pair move to Rome in a €4m transfer which also sees former Italy and AS Bari defender Duccio Innocenti travel in the opposite direction. French international Dabo and Italian international Zauri have both agreed three-year contracts.

Much to prove
"I want to know if I can impose myself in a top side," said Dabo, 25, a former Internazionale FC and Parma AC player. Zauri, also 25, leaves his only club Atalanta following their relegation from Serie A. Innocenti, meanwhile, has signed a three-year deal with the Bergamo club. The versatile player had joined Lazio on a free transfer from Bari earlier this month.

Loan switch
Lazio have also loaned Italian international midfield player Roberto Baronio to AC Chievo Verona for the forthcoming Serie A campaign. Chievo will have the option of a permanent move for the 25-year-old next summer.
