Article body
Portuguese international midfield player Sérgio Conceição has left Internazionale FC by mutual agreement.
'Friendly agreement'
The 28-year-old, who spent the last two seasons in Milan, is on the lookout for a new club after agreeing a deal to have his contract cancelled. "I am a free player, and I am going to look for a new club," said Conceição adding: "It was a friendly agreement, very easy to get."
Five-year spell
Conceição had been disappointed to see his first-team opportunities dip under Argentinian coach Héctor Cúper. Having left FC Porto in 1998, the midfield player has just completed his fifth season in Serie A, having spent two seasons with S.S. Lazio, one with Parma AC and latterly two with Inter, making 23 Serie A appearances in his first season for the club and 19 in his second.
More glory
Having impressed at the highest level in Italy and performed consistently for his national team, Conceição is now hoping to find more glory with another side. "I want to find a good club to help me achieve my ambitions," he said.
