Inter swoop for Fadiga

Inter statement
The 29-year-old left-sided midfield player has joined Inter on a three-year contract. The Italian club's website said: "Inter have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Khalilou Fadiga from Auxerre. It is a three-year deal, ending on 30 June 2006."

Available for transfer
Fadiga was made available for transfer by Auxerre at the end of last season. The financial details of the move have not been disclosed. Fadiga, who was born in Paris but has joint Senegalese and Belgian nationality, becomes Inter's second transfer of note this summer following the loan signing of Luciano Siqueira.
