Two-year contract
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the option of a further two seasons. "I am very happy with this transfer, it is an honour for me to come to Olympiacos," he said.
'Huge task'
"I know that it will be a huge task to try and fill the boots of Zé Elias who is leaving, but I am determined to make an impact. I wish to extend my thanks to the fans of Iraklis, my home for the previous eleven years. To come to the Greek champions and have the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League is an awesome opportunity for me."
Iraklis regular
Stoltidis is a tall, strong player who has been an Iraklis regular for several years. Last season he scored six goals in 28 league appearances for the Thessaloniki team. Meanwhile, Iraklis themselves have signed two Polish players in 24-year-old defender Miroslaw Sznaucner and 31-year-old forward Cezary Kucharski.
Two-year deals
The latter joins from Legia Warszawa and was a member of Poland's squad at last year's FIFA World Cup finals. "I have signed a two-year contract with the option of another year," Kucharski said. Sznaucner, who arrives from Dospel Katowice, has also secured a two-year contract with the option of a third season.
