GOALKEEPERS
Popular pick
Manuel Neuer (€6.0m) vs Lazio
Defending champions Bayern head into the knockout stage in confident form, not only scoring freely in attack but also giving very little away in defence. This makes Neuer a highly attractive selection for Matchday 7 and it is no surprise that the German stopper is currently the most highly owned goalkeeper ahead of Bayern’s first leg with Lazio. Neuer registered two clean sheets in his five group stage appearances, a total of 27 saves boosting his Fantasy score to 24 points, and with Bayern keeping plenty of clean sheets recently, he looks to be hitting form at the perfect time for #UCLfantasy managers.

Potential differential
Ederson (£6.0m) vs Mönchengladbach
With four clean sheets from his five appearances in this season's competition, and the third highest #UCLfantasy score among goalkeepers so far with 26 points, the Manchester City goalkeeper has proved one of the top performers. Ederson has also been in sparkling form domestically, having already racked up 14 clean sheets for his side in the Premier League. City's defensive form so far this campaign has played a key part in taking them to the top of the English top flight and don't be surprised if they carry that solidity into the UEFA Champions League knockout stage. With the Brazilian owned by only 9% of #UCLfantasy managers, he could prove a shrewd differential on Matchday 7 as Josep Guardiola's men face Bundesliga side Mönchengladbach.

DEFENDERS
Popular pick
Angeliño (€5.4m) vs Liverpool
Currently the joint second highest scoring player in #UCLfantasy with 46 points, left wing-back Angeliño has earned rave reviews for his exploits so far this season and that is chiefly down to his attacking prowess. Despite being listed as a defender, the Spaniard has often been afforded the licence to roam forward by Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann. This has led to Angeliño recording both three goals and three assists during the group stage, including a mammoth 19-point haul on Matchday 1 when he collected two goals and a clean sheet in Leipzig's 2-0 victory over İstanbul Başakşehir. The German side come up against 2018/19 UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool on Matchday 7, with the defending Premier League champions beset by a number of defensive injuries. With that in mind, Angeliño could be set to take advantage by picking up a healthy Fantasy points return for his high ownership.

Potential differential
Zaidu Sanusi (€5.0m) vs Juventus
Another left-back who has made a big splash in this season's competition has been Porto's Sanusi, who has established himself as one of the best value #UCLfantasy defensive assets. Like Angeliño, the 23-year-old accumulated 46 points over the course of the group stage with five clean sheets, one goal and 32 completed ball recoveries. Priced at just €5.0m, provided he recovers from injury in time for next week's first leg against Juventus, Sanusi may prove an ideal option for those looking for cheap, low-owned defender to complement their squad heading into Matchday 7.

MIDFIELDERS
Popular pick
Casemiro (€6.2m) vs Atalanta
Whilst Casemiro doesn't particularly stand out for his attacking returns, the Real Madrid star commands a high ownership from #UCLfantasy managers due to his ball recovery numbers. Despite missing one of the six group stage games, the Brazilian still managed to acquire 42 ball recoveries over the course of his five appearances, the second most of all midfielders remaining in the competition, which helped him pick up an additional 13 points. Casemiro is not without attacking potential though, having also contributed a goal and assist in the group stage. With Madrid visiting Atalanta on Matchday 7, Casemiro will likely retain his high ownership given his reliability as an asset.

Potential differential
Joaquín Correa (€8.1m) vs Bayern
With an ownership percentage of just 1%, the Lazio midfielder deserves far more attention than he is currently getting heading into the round of 16. The 26-year-old starred for the Italian side in the group stage, his two goals and two assists going a long way to helping them progress. As a result of his attacking exploits, Correa also shone from a #UCLfantasy perspective by earning 32 points over six matches, which places him joint fifth on the list of highest scoring Fantasy midfielders. Despite facing tough opposition in reigning champions Bayern, Correa could yet prove a golden investment for anyone looking to make up ground in their respective mini leagues.

Popular pick
Erling Braut Haaland (€11.1m) vs Sevilla
Such are the standards he has set, Haaland is expected to score every time he plays –particularly in the UEFA Champions League where he has bagged an incredible 16 goals from just 12 appearances. Despite missing both Matchday 5 and Matchday 6 through injury, the 20-year-old still hit six goals in the group stage and comes into the round of 16 back at full fitness after returning from a hamstring injury at the beginning of January. With 32 #UCLfantasy points to his name from just four appearances, Haaland is sure to be one of the most sought-after Fantasy assets as Dortmund travel to Sevilla on Matchday 7.

Potential differential
Luis Suárez (€9.9m) vs Chelsea
Whilst the Atlético forward may not have set this season's UEFA Champions League alight so far after picking up just seven points, Suárez may be coming into form at the perfect time heading into the round of 16. The Uruguayan has scored seven goals in his last five Liga games for Diego Simeone's side and he'll now be looking to carry that domestic form into European competition. At €9.9m, Suárez could represent a bargain for #UCLfantasy owners considering his recent goalscoring pedigree in the knockout stage, with two goals in two appearances for Barcelona last season against Napoli and Bayern respectively. Chelsea are the opponents on Matchday 7 and following his highly successful spell as a Liverpool player, facing an English club will give Suárez plenty of motivation. For anyone looking to bring in a differential forward who has proven himself from a goalscoring perspective in the UEFA Champions League, he may well be the perfect signing.
