With Matchday 4 bringing a rapid reversal from last week's games, the Scout has selected a number of players who delivered on Matchday 3, including Erling Haaland – although the Manchester City striker's selection might necessitate a late tactical reshuffle on #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation.
Goalkeepers
Having belatedly kick-started their Group H campaign with a 3-1 win against Maccabi Haifa in Turin last week, Juventus are looking for three more points in Israel, with Wojciech Szczęsny (€5.5m) aiming for a first clean sheet of the group stage.
Sporting C shipped four goals at Marseille last time out but have three clean sheets in their five home games in all competitions this season, including one in the 2-0 defeat of Tottenham on Matchday 2. With regular No1 Antonio Adán suspended following his red card in France, the bargain Franco Israel (€4.0m) is a budget-friendly deputy.
Defenders
Sporting and Juventus are both also represented in the five defenders selected, Gonçalo Inácio (€4.7m) aiming to add to his 17 Fantasy points to date for the Portuguese side while the advanced role of Filip Kostić (€5.5m) down the left makes him an obvious Juventus pick.
Another attacking left-back, Dortmund's Raphaël Guerreiro (€4.8m), has 23 points so far this season, eight coming at Sevilla last week. Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€5.0m) picked up 13 on Matchday 3 with his Napoli team at home to Ajax, while Sergio Gómez (€4.1m) has scored 17 points from his two appearances to date as Manchester City visit Copenhagen.
Midfielders
Several of those clubs are also represented in midfield, where the two highest scorers on #UCLfantasy overall are both included. Leroy Sané (€9.2m) is aiming to add to his 35 points as Bayern München visit Plzeň, while Jude Bellingham (€7.3m) scored 13 of his 33 points in Sevilla last week.
Manchester City's Jack Grealish (€8.0m) delivered a six-point haul at home to Copenhagen last week, when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€5.5m) earned ten as Napoli turned on the style at Ajax. Hidemasa Morita (€5.0m) has scored in Sporting's last two Portuguese Liga matches – although his selection is dependent on what happens up front.
Forwards
Two of the three striking options are inked in, Dušan Vlahović (€9.0m) having scored in two of Juventus's last three games including in the home win against Maccabi Haifa on Matchday 3. Kylian Mbappé (€11.2m) struck three times in Paris's first two games and is likely to have extra motivation at home to Benfica having failed to find the net in Lisbon.
The third forward selection is the indispensable Erling Haaland (€11.1m), who has scored in Manchester City's last ten games and has 20 goals in 13 appearances for the club. However, with City clear at the top of Group G the Norwegian may be rested for the trip to Copenhagen; fortunately, that's one of Tuesday's early games so, if Haaland isn't selected, his likely deputy Julian Alvarez (€5.9m) would come in, freeing up funds for Vinícius Júnior (€10.0m) to replace Morita in midfield.
