Champions League top scorers 2023/24: Mbappé leapfrogs Kane

Kylian Mbappé moved above Bayern's Harry Kane at the summit of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League top scorers' chart after scoring twice as Paris Saint-Germain booked their place in the semi-finals on Tuesday.

Kane was unable to find the net on Wednesday but helped Bayern reached the semi-finals at Arsenal's expense, giving the Englishman the chance to add to his tally in the last four. Manchester City trio Erling Haaland, Julián Álvarez and Phil Foden – Kane and Mbappé's closest challengers left in the competition before Wednesday's games – all also drew blanks as the reigning champions lost out to Real Madrid, whose goalscorer Rodrygo now has five for the season.
