Pick your Fantasy squad for Matchday 5
Highlights: Bayern München 1-0 Benfica

Jamal Musiala (€9.0m) – Bayern

In the two games that Musiala has started in the Champions League this season, he has provided a goal, two assists and a Player of the Match award, with Bayern's most recent European outing resulting in a ten-point Fantasy return for the German international. His last six starts for club and country have yielded seven goals, including the first hat-trick of his senior career against Mainz last month, so he heads into the Matchday 5 meeting with Paris on a fine run of form.

Lautaro Martínez (€9.5m) – Inter

Although Martínez has only started one of Inter's first four Champions League fixtures, appearing off the bench in the other three, his recent form in front of goal makes him a compelling Matchday 5 option for the Nerazzurri's home fixture against Leipzig. The Argentinian has nine goals in his last 14 appearances for club and country, including one on Matchday 2 against Crvena Zvezda, and was on target in both of Argentina's recent World Cup qualifiers. Owned by just 5% of Fantasy managers, Martínez represents an in-form differential striker.

Jonathan David (€7.1m) – LOSC Lille

Having scored at least once in each of Lille's last three league phase fixtures against opponents of the calibre of Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Juventus, Fantasy managers could move for David ahead of the French side's contest against Bologna. The 24-year-old recently became Canada's outright all-time top scorer and has 16 goals in 24 appearances for club and country in 2024/25. David is a budget-friendly alternative to some of the more costly Fantasy forwards.

Highlights: Celtic 3-1 Leipzig

Nicolas Kühn (€4.5m) – Celtic

For those looking for an even cheaper Matchday 5 asset with the potential to return significant points, Kühn is a leading candidate. Only five midfielders – most of them significantly more expensive – have recorded more than his 28 Fantasy points with his most productive performance in the league phase coming on Matchday 4, the German scoring twice against Leipzig to earn the Player of the Match award and 16 points. In all competitions he has four goals and three assists in his last four outings.

Vinícius Júnior (€11.1m) – Real Madrid

With two hat-tricks in his last four appearances for Real Madrid, Vinícius Júnior is one of the highest-owned Fantasy forwards at the moment. One of those hat-tricks came in a second-half burst against Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 3, and he added a further goal to his Champions League tally against AC Milan last time out. With 12 goals in all competitions this season, and nine in his last six club appearances, the Brazilian will next be looking to add to his five goals in five appearances against Matchday 5 opponents Liverpool.
