With the return of the league phase imminent, UEFA.com studies the form book ahead of Matchday 7 of #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation.
Julián Alvarez (€8.1m) – Atlético de Madrid
As a team, Atlético have been in irresistible form in recent months. Diego Simeone's side have won their last 15 games in all competitions – a new club record – and their last three in the league phase. With three goals in his last two Champions League outings and four in his last four, Alvarez has been one of their standout Fantasy performers ahead of Leverkusen's visit on Matchday 7 having scored seven times in his last ten appearances in all competitions.
Patrik Schick (€6.3m) – Bayer Leverkusen
Although fellow Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface is expected back from injury soon, Schick has proved a prolific replacement in the Nigerian's absence. Like Matchday 7 opponents Atlético, Leverkusen are enjoying a rich vein of form having won each of their last ten matches and have only failed to score in one of their last 38 away games in all competitions. Schick has contributed an incredible 14 goals in his last eight starts for the German side, a run which includes four against Freiburg on 21 December and a hat-trick against Heidenheim the previous month.
Lamine Yamal (€7.4m) – Barcelona
Barcelona hit 16 goals in their first four games in 2025 and are also the top scorers in the Champions League, averaging over three goals per game. Although Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski have also been in fine form, Yamal – still the highest-owned Fantasy player in the Barcelona squad – is the top assist provider in La Liga and has four attacking contributions in his last three appearances, either scoring himself or laying on an assist in six of his last seven games.
Viktor Gyökeres (€7.9m) – Sporting CP
In truth Gyökeres has not been out of form for the entire 2024/25 campaign, continuing to find the net at an incredible rate. The 26-year-old has 32 goals in 30 club appearances this season and a further nine in six outings for Sweden. Gyökeres has five in his last three in all competitions and has already struck a league phase hat-trick in Sporting's 4-1 victory over Manchester City on Matchday 4. The Portuguese side next take on Leipzig, who have lost all six games to date.
Theo Hernández (€5.5m) – AC Milan
Milan – who lifted the Italian Super Cup on 6 January – have won their last four league phase encounters and have suffered a single defeat in their last 16 games in all competitions. Although they are without a clean sheet in five matches, Hernández has shown that he can produce returns at the other end of the pitch, scoring one goal and setting up another against city rivals Inter in that Supercoppa Italiana final and also finding the net in a 2-1 Serie A win at Como on 14 January.
