Barcelona will look to make it four home wins from four in this season's UEFA Champions League as they take on UEFA Europa League winners Atalanta in the concluding round of league phase fixtures.
The home side are on a run of six successive Champions League victories – including a remarkable 5-4 win at Benfica on Matchday 7 – to seal their place in the top eight.
Atalanta have 14 points, winning three of their last four fixtures and sealing a place in the knockout phase with a 5-0 home victory against Sturm Graz in the most recent.
This is the teams' first meeting, and only Atalanta's fourth fixture in Spain.

Barcelona last faced Italian opposition in last season's round of 16, beating Napoli 4-2 on aggregate (1-1 a, 3-1 h).
The second-leg victory was only their second in their last seven matches against Serie A sides (D3 L2).
It also ended a run of three home games without a win against Italian visitors (D2 L1); Barça had won the previous five and nine of the previous ten (D1).
Barcelona have faced Italian opposition in five UEFA finals, winning three and losing two. The most recent brought a 3-1 victory against Juventus in the 2014/15 Champions League in Berlin. They also lifted the trophy on Italian soil in 2009, beating Manchester United 2-0 in Rome.
This is Barcelona's 29th campaign in the Champions League proper, a competition record they share with Real Madrid. They have featured every season since 2003/04.
The five-time European champions reached the quarter-finals or better every season between 2007/08 and 2019/20, winning the title in 2009, 2011 and 2015, but reached the round of 16 for the first time in three campaigns in 2023/24.
Under Xavi Hernández, Barcelona finished top of their section last season and then beat Napoli in the round of 16 before being eliminated by Paris (3-2 a, 1-4 h).
Barcelona have won only nine of their last 20 home European games, losing six, but have scored 12 goals in their three fixtures this season in beating Young Boys (5-0), Bayern München (4-1) and Brest (3-0).
The Catalan club were second to Real Madrid in the 2023/24 Liga.
Barcelona replaced Xavi with former Bayern and Germany coach Hansi Flick in the summer.

This is Atalanta's third game against Spanish opposition this season having lost to Real Madrid in both the UEFA Super Cup (0-2) and at home on Champions League Matchday 6 (2-3).
The Bergamo club won their first two games against Spanish opponents, beating Valencia 4-1 at home and 4-3 away in the 2019/20 round of 16, but have lost five of their subsequent six games (D1) including the last three.
Atalanta's last game in Spain was a 2-2 draw at Villarreal on Matchday 1 of the 2021/22 Champions League.
Atalanta are taking part in the Champions League proper for the fourth time – all since 2019 – in 2024/25.
La Dea's 3-0 win at Shakhtar Donetsk on Matchday 2 ended a four-game run without a victory in Champions League away games (D2 L2) having won five of their first seven matches (L2). They have since triumphed at Stuttgart (2-0) and Young Boys (6-1), the latter their biggest Champions League win.
The Italian side have won four of their last 13 Champions League fixtures (D5 L4).
The Bergamo club were fourth in Serie A last season, their fifth top-four finish in eight seasons.

Barcelona scored seven for the second time in La Liga this season on Sunday, beating Valencia 7-1 at home. Frenkie de Jong, Ferran Torres and Raphinha all scored in the first 14 minutes, the first time since 2008 Barça had found the net three times in the opening quarter-hour of a league fixture.
Fermín López's double made it 5-0 at half-time, the first time Barcelona had scored five in the first 45 minutes of a Liga game since April 2015.
Aged 21 years 260 days, Fermín López became the youngest Barcelona player to be involved in four goals (two goals, two assists) in a Liga game since Bojan Krkić in March 2008.

On Saturday Atalanta came from behind to win 2-1 at Como thanks to Mateo Retegui's second-half double.
Atalanta's 15-match unbeaten Serie A run (W11 D4) was ended by a 2-3 defeat at home to leaders Napoli on 18 January despite goals from Retegui and Ademola Lookman.
Wins against Cagliari (1-0) and Empoli (3-2) made it 11 successive Serie A victories for Atalanta – the first time in the club's history they had won ten or more matches in the Italian top flight – before a 1-1 draw at Lazio on 28 December.
The Bergamo side lost their first game in 2025, 2-0 against Inter in the Italian Super Cup semi-finals on 2 January.
Atalanta were subsequently held 0-0 at Udinese on 11 January before a 1-1 draw at home to Juventus three days later.
Retegui, who also found the net against Juve, is Serie A's top scorer with 16 goals.
The Argentinian has 19 in all competitions this season, one of three Atalanta players to reach double figures alongside Lookman (14) and Charles De Ketelaere (11).
