Highlights: Celtic 1-0 Young Boys

GOALKEEPERS

Just two goalkeepers ended Matchday 7 with a double-figure score, Marvin Keller (€3.8m) producing the biggest total. Despite his Young Boys side losing 1-0 at Celtic, Keller's penalty stop from Arne Engels and seven saves across the match meant he came away with the Player of the Match award and 12 Fantasy points.

That total was one more than Justin Bijlow (€5.0m), who shut out Harry Kane and company as Feyenoord recorded a memorable 3-0 win at home to Bayern München. Bijlow, making his first appearance of the league phase, also made seven saves on the way to a clean sheet and 11 points after being named Player of the Match.

Two of the five most-owned goalkeepers also kept clean sheets. Inter's Yann Sommer (€5.5m) and David Raya (€5.6m) of Arsenal are the only two players in their position to reach 40 or more points across the league phase after shutting out Sparta Praha and GNK Dinamo respectively.

Highlights: Monaco 1-0 Aston Villa

DEFENDERS

After being suspended for Matchday 6, Wilfried Singo (€4.7m) returned to the Monaco line-up to score the only goal in a crucial 1-0 victory at home to Aston Villa. The 24-year-old's attacking prowess has been a highlight of Monaco's league phase campaign and he now has two goals and an assist in four appearances. Singo's 19-point return was unmatched by any player across all positions.

One of the top-performing Fantasy defenders, Isak Hien (€4.9m) once again delivered with 13 points, his second double-figure total in four matchdays. Hien registered an assist and 12 ball recoveries as Atalanta defeated Sturm Graz 5-0, underlining his ability to pick up Fantasy points through multiple avenues.

Seven more defenders accumulated double-figure scores on Matchday 7, with two finishing on 11 points. One of those was Singo's Monaco team-mate Thilo Kehrer (€4.8m), who got the assist for Singo's goal. Feyenoord's Gijs Smal (€4.2m) was the second player, his 11 points from a clean sheet, an assist and eight ball recoveries.

Highlights: Benfica 4-5 Barcelona

MIDFIELDERS

Now the highest points scorer in any position, Raphinha (€7.7m) continued to show why he is so heavily coveted by Fantasy managers. The Brazilian scored twice at Benfica, including the dramatic decisive goal as Barcelona won a thriller 5-4 in Lisbon. After being awarded Player of the Match, Raphinha ended with 16 points – his fourth double-figure haul of the league phase.

The Barcelona winger did not end Matchday 7 as the highest-scoring Fantasy midfielder, however; that was Jamie Leweling (€5.5m), who starred in Stuttgart's crucial 3-1 victory at Slovan Bratislava. The 23-year-old winger delivered two goals and six ball recoveries, enough to earn the Player of the Match award and leave him with 18 Fantasy points.

Mohamed Salah (€10.1m) and Ademola Lookman (€6.7m) maintained their strong Fantasy form for Liverpool and Atalanta respectively. Both were on target, Lookman from the bench and also adding an assist while Salah managed 11 points after playing 90 minutes against Lille and being named Player of the Match.

Highlights: Crvena Zvezda 2-3 PSV

FORWARDS

Matchday 7 proved to be a prosperous one for forwards as seven scored at least two goals. Vangelis Pavlidis (€6.5m) hit a hat-trick that was not enough to prevent Benfica losing to Barcelona, his 14-point score matched by Luuk de Jong (€7.0m), who found the net twice but also made four ball recoveries and was named Player of the Match as PSV won at Crvena Zvezda.

Julián Alvarez (€8.3m) made it five goals in his last three league phase appearances after his double helped Atlético de Madrid come from behind to beat Bayer Leverkusen, the Player of the Match award taking Alvarez's total to 13 points.

Another striker in hot form is Real Madrid's Vinícius Júnior (€11.2m), who matched Alvarez for goals but came away with one Fantasy point less after being booked in Real Madrid's 5-1 win over Salzburg. Robert Lewandowski (€9.6m) extended his lead at the top of this season's Champions League scoring charts with two goals and 11 Fantasy points.
