Matchday 11 of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League proved to be a high-scoring one on #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation, with eight players reaching double figures for points.
GOALKEEPERS
One of Matchday 11's highlights was the individual performance of Alisson Becker (€6.0m). The Brazilian registered nine saves in a brilliant showing which helped Liverpool snatch a 1-0 aggregate advantage over Paris Saint-Germain, his 12 Fantasy points the highest score among goalkeepers.
After eight points on Matchday 10, Timon Wellenreuther (€4.5m) impressed again despite Feyenoord losing 0-2 at home to Inter. Wellenreuther's penalty stop and five saves gave him six points, while opposite number Josep Martínez (€5.0m) managed a clean sheet and seven points in his first start of this season's Champions League.
The second-highest scoring Fantasy goalkeeper on Matchday 11 was Wojciech Szczęsny (€4.0m), whose price tag is likely to generate interest ahead of next week's second leg. The Polish keeper earned eight points, making eight saves.
DEFENDERS
Just one defender registered a double-figure return, Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori (€5.3m) – who came on as a substitute – recording a goal, assist, six ball recoveries and 12 Fantasy points in the win at PSV Eindhoven.
Among an Inter back line that delivered an eighth Champions League shut out of the season, Benjamin Pavard (€4.9m) proved the highest Fantasy scorer, recording nine points. Team-mates Stefan de Vrij (€5.0m), Denzel Dumfries (€5.5m) and Francesco Acerbi (€4.5m) each managed seven points, Alessandro Bastoni (€5.4m) finishing with six.
One of just three defenders to score nine points or more on Matchday 11, Dayot Upamecano (€5.0m) made nine ball recoveries in Bayern München's win against Bayer Leverkusen and now has 24 points across the last three matchdays.
MIDFIELDERS
The top Fantasy score on Matchday 11 came from Martin Ødegaard (€8.9m), whose performance for Arsenal in their victory over PSV included two goals – one from outside the box – an assist and the Player of the Match award, helping him to accumulate 19 points.
Three other Fantasy midfielders registered ten points or more: Hákon Arnar Haraldsson (€4.9m) of Lille, Arsenal's Mikel Merino (€6.8m) and Club Brugge's Maxim De Cuyper (€4.5m), who all found the net. Haraldsson was named Player of the Match against Dortmund and scored 12 points, while Merino and De Cuyper managed 11 and ten respectively.
Owned by 45% of Fantasy managers, Raphinha (€7.7m) scored Barcelona's winning goal at Benfica to pick up nine points. That took his overall tally this season to 93 points, the most of any player.
FORWARDS
Two Harry Kane (€10.7m) goals against Leverkusen made it nine for the Bayern striker in this season's Champions League. Kane's strikes, which included a penalty that he had won himself, led to the Player of the Match award, taking his Matchday 11 Fantasy score to 15 points, more than any other forward.
While most Fantasy managers had eyes on Vinícius Júnior or Kylian Mbappé, it was Rodrygo (€8.7m) who scored Real Madrid's opening goal in a 2-1 win at home to city rivals Atlético de Madrid, earning ten points following his Player of the Match award.
Inter forwards profited on Matchday 11 with both Lautaro Martínez (€9.4m) and Marcus Thuram (€7.3m) each finding the net, ending with nine and eight points respectively. There was also a goal for Atleti's Julián Alvarez (€8.3m), who has six goals, an assist and 45 Fantasy points in his last five appearances.
