Who should be my Champions League Fantasy Football captain for Matchday 13?

UEFA.com assesses the captaincy options for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first legs, when Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Raphinha and Ousmane Dembélé could once again play a significant role for managers on #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation.

TUESDAY 8 APRIL

Harry Kane (€10.8m) vs Inter (H)

The highest-scoring forward in the round of 16, accumulating 26 points across his two fixtures against Bayer Leverkusen, Kane also picked up the Player of the Match award in both legs thanks to three goals, an assist and a penalty won. The Bayern striker has ten Champions League goals from just 11 appearances this season, and 33 for his club in all competitions. Quarter-final opponents Inter have been superb defensively this season, but Kane will put that resolve to the test.

Kylian Mbappé (€11.1m) vs Arsenal (A)

A strong case can be made for a number of Real Madrid players when it comes to the Fantasy captaincy, but as their top scorer across all competitions this season, Mbappé is right at the top of that list. Having scored 33 goals during his first season in Spain, the Frenchman has struck seven times in the Champions League, also providing two assists and winning a Player of the Match award. Mbappé scored four goals against Arsenal's Premier League rivals Manchester City in the knockout phase play-offs and heads into Matchday 13 with five in his last three Liga matches.

WEDNESDAY 9 APRIL

Raphinha (€7.7m) vs Dortmund (H)

The Brazilian's relentless form in the Champions League has made him a mainstay in UEFA.com's captaincy selections, and Matchday 13 is no different with Barcelona taking on Borussia Dortmund at home. Raphinha, who found the net for his country in the March international break, is both the top scorer (11 goals) and top Fantasy points scorer (105) in the competition, and has either a goal or an assist in eight of his ten European appearances this season. With a Fantasy ownership approaching 50%, Raphinha is sure to be a popular captaincy choice on Wednesday.

Ousmane Dembélé (€8.5m) vs Aston Villa (H)

One of the form players of 2025, Dembélé has an incredible 22 goals in 18 club appearances this year and was also on target for France in the UEFA Nations League last month. The 27-year-old played a crucial role in Paris' last Champions League fixture, scoring the only goal at Liverpool and also converting in the penalty shoot-out victory. Of the Fantasy midfielders in action on Matchday 13, only Raphinha has more points than Dembélé, who once again faces Premier League opposition in Aston Villa.
