Ahead of the second legs of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappé and Lautaro Martínez could all prove to be excellent captaincy choices for managers on #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation.
TUESDAY 15 APRIL
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€7.5m) vs Aston Villa (A)
In a pulsating first leg in Paris, Kvaratskhelia came away with the Player of the Match award in a 3-1 victory for the new French champions. The Georgian international's stunning effort early in the second half was his third Champions League goal contribution since joining Paris in January, and his second double-figure points return. Kvaratskhelia has three goals and two assists in his last four games for club and country and with an ownership of just 2%, holds significant differential appeal ahead of Matchday 14.
Robert Lewandowski (€9.6m) vs Dortmund (A)
Although team-mate Raphinha has often taken the headlines during Barcelona's campaign, Lewandowski is only one goal behind the Brazilian's tally in this season's Champions League and his double on Matchday 13 took him to 99 goals in all competitions for Barcelona. Lewandowski therefore made it 29 goals in 28 appearances against former club Dortmund and took his overall tally for the season to 40 club goals.
Other options: Morgan Rogers (€5.2m), Ousmane Dembélé (€8.5m), Raphinha (€7.8m)
WEDNESDAY 16 APRIL
Lautaro Martínez (€9.4m) vs Bayern München (H)
Martínez's fine strike opened the scoring at Bayern in the first leg, and with six goals and 40 points from his last four Champions League appearances, he has proven to be an excellent Fantasy forward for owners. Despite this form, there are still five strikers whose ownership exceeds that of the Argentinian, so he could be an astute captain choice for the return leg in Milan. The Inter striker is just one goal short of reaching 20 in all competitions for the fourth season in succession.
Kylian Mbappé (€11.1m) vs Arsenal (H)
The holders have it all to do in the second leg after losing 0-3 in London, but the Santiago Bernabéu has staged many sensational comebacks and Fantasy managers may still look to Real Madrid players on Matchday 14. One of the main options will be the 40%-owned Mbappé, who already has seven goals and two assists in this season's competition. Some motivation when it comes to deciding the Fantasy captaincy is the fact that the Frenchman scored a hat-trick and earned 18 points in Madrid's last home fixture against Premier League opposition, the 3-1 defeat of Manchester City in the knockout phase play-offs.
Other options: Vinícius Júnior (€11.1m), Bukayo Saka (€9.0m), Harry Kane (€10.9m)
