UEFA.com picks out five in-form players who could make an impact on UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 for managers on #UCLfantasy, presented by PlayStation.
Kylian Mbappé (€10.5m) – Real Madrid
After 44 goals in his first season in Spain, Mbappé has picked up where he left off and is finding the net with regularity once again. After three goals in as many La Liga games, the Frenchman struck against both Ukraine and Iceland in FIFA World Cup qualifying. The most-selected forward by a distance, Mbappé's Fantasy owners will be hoping he can continue his hot streak when Madrid face Marseille.
Dušan Vlahović (€7.5m) – Juventus
Although much attention has been on Jonathan David following the striker's summer arrival, Vlahović recorded five goal involvements and two Player of the Match awards in last season's league phase and scored in two of Juventus' three pre-season friendlies before finding the net in their first two Serie A fixtures. The 25-year-old was also on target for Serbia in the international break.
Michael Olise (€8.0m) – Bayern München
Along with team-mate Harry Kane, Olise's early-season form has attracted plenty of attention from Fantasy managers. The Frenchman struck 20 goals across all competitions in his first season at Bayern and already has four in as many club games in 2025/26. The winger was also on the scoresheet against Ukraine in World Cup qualifying on 5 September.
Luis Suárez (€5.0m) – Sporting CP
Fantasy managers looking for a budget differential forward could consider Suárez, whose Sporting CP side are at home to debutants Kairat Almaty. The 27-year-old joined the Portuguese champions in the summer and has already made a big impact, scoring twice on his second start and providing two assists in the next match. Even more eye-catching were his exploits at international level, the Colombian scoring four goals in a 6-3 win over Venezuela.
Erling Haaland (€10.5m) – Manchester City
Haaland went one better on international duty with five goals against Moldova on 9 September, taking his record for Norway to 48 goals in just 45 games. Having also scored the winner against Finland five days earlier, Haaland now has nine goals in five games for club and country in 2025/26, and has 49 goals in 48 Champions League games before City welcome Napoli on Matchday 1.
