Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Victor Osimhen lead a potent attack in a squad also including Lamine Yamal, Gabriel and Anthony Gordon.

Champions League Fantasy Football: The Scout squad for Matchday 3

The Scout's squad for the third set of league phase fixtures in the UEFA Champions League features a full contingent of three players from both Barcelona and Chelsea, while the prolific goalscoring form of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland means the pair are joined by Victor Osimhen up front for Matchday 3 of #UCLfantasy, presented by PlayStation.

Goalkeepers

Both goalkeepers selected have home advantage this week. Tuesday's pick is Wojciech Szczęsny (€5.5m), whose Barcelona side take on an Olympiacos team who are yet to score in this season's league phase; indeed, the Greek champions have found the net in only three of their last eight away European fixtures.

On Wednesday, Robert Sánchez (€5.0m) and Chelsea face Ajax at Stamford Bridge. While the Dutch side have also drawn a blank so far in this season's Champions League, the Blues have two clean sheets in their last three matches in all competitions.

Defenders

Those favourable home fixtures for Barcelona and Chelsea mean both are also represented among the defenders. The budget-friendly Eric García (€4.5m) is the Barça pick having delivered four points in defeat on Matchday 2, when Marc Cucurella (€5.5m) picked up ten in Chelsea's home win.

Gabriel (€5.5m) is the joint-fifth highest scorer among defenders on 15 points and has helped Arsenal to three successive clean sheets in all competitions ahead of the home game against Atlético de Madrid, while Berat Djimsiti (€4.5m) will look to help Atalanta make it successive home wins as Slavia Praha come to Italy. Kairat Almaty have lost both home games in the league phase but four clean sheets in their four home qualifiers make Aleksandr Martynovich (€4.5m) a differential pick for the visit of Pafos.

Midfielders

The triple-ups on Barcelona and Chelsea are completed in midfield, Tyrique George (€5.0m) a budget pick from the Blues as João Pedro's suspension means he could start up front against Ajax, while Lamine Yamal (€10.0m) will shoulder much of Barça's attacking burden given injuries to Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.

Leory Sané (€7.0m) scored twice for Galatasaray at the weekend and next face a Bodø/Glimt side that have conceded 18 goals in their last eight away European matches. A penalty double for Anthony Gordon (€7.0m) on Matchday 2 makes him a strong selection as Newcastle look to make it successive league phase victories at home to Benfica, while Mario Pašalić (€5.5m) scored 12 points as Atalanta overcame Club Brugge in Bergamo last time out, next opponents Slavia Praha having conceded five goals in their first two games.

Forwards

The scoring form of Harry Kane (€10.6m) and Erling Haaland (€10.5m) means both are all but automatic selections. Kane's goal on Saturday means he has scored in Bayern München's last seven games, 13 goals in total, and has 19 in 11 club appearances in 2025/26 before taking on Club Brugge in Munich; Haaland hit two at the weekend and has found the net in his last 11 games for club and country, 21 goals in all, as Manchester City visit Villarreal.

Victor Osimhen (€7.5m) got Galatasaray's winner on Matchday 2 and is set to lead the line again against Bodø/Glimt in Istanbul, the Turkish team unbeaten in 29 home matches in all competitions (W21 D8) as they aim to make it back-to-back league phase victories.
