Goalkeepers

The two goalkeepers all but pick themselves, with Arsenal and Inter the only teams still to concede in this season's league phase and in action on separate nights. The English club are involved in one of Tuesday's early kick-offs, at Slavia Praha, meaning David Raya (€5.5m) is selected looking to add to his 19 Fantasy points already this season.

Yann Sommer (€6.0m) also has 19 points – the joint-second highest total among goalkeepers, two behind Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois – and will look to make it four clean sheets from four on Wednesday, when Inter welcome to Milan a Kairat Almaty side that have scored once in their first three fixtures.

Defenders

Those perfect defensive records mean Arsenal and Inter are also represented among the five defenders. The Gunners have managed seven clean sheets in all competitions – one short of a club record – so Gabriel (€5.5m) and Jurriën Timber (€5.0m) are both selected for Tuesday's trip to Slavia, when the early kick-off time means Fantasy managers can see the line-up before finalising their squads to react to any potential player rotation. Denzel Dumfries (€6.1m), the top-scoring defender on the game with 37 points, has two goals to add to his three clean sheets and looks well-placed to add to that against Kairat at San Siro.

Another defender in scoring form is Micky van de Ven (€5.0m), who got two goals in Tottenham's Premier League win at Everton on 26 October to make it three in the league this season; Spurs are at home to a Copenhagen side with a single point. Robin Le Normand (€4.6m) and Atlético de Madrid also have a home fixture this week, opponents Union Saint-Gilloise having lost their last two league phase fixtures 4-0; Atleti have lost two of their three games in this season's Champions League but have managed three clean sheets in four games in all competitions.

Midfielders

Three of the five midfielders selected face away fixtures on Matchday 4, although one of the two who is at home, Anthony Gordon (€7.1m), is already the first Newcastle player to score in three successive Champions League games and will look to make it four when Athletic Club come to St James' Park. Igor Paixão (€6.2m) is still in only 5% of Fantasy teams despite being the top-scoring midfielder with 29 points; his Marseille team are at home to Atalanta, who are winless in six games.

Fermín López (€6.4m) registered 20 points on Matchday 3 with a hat-trick against Olympiacos; Barcelona are next at Club Brugge, who have conceded six goals in their last two Champions League outings. Olympiacos, meanwhile, visit a PSV Eindhoven team that scored six themselves last time out, Ismael Saibari (€6.6m) having found the net in the Dutch club's last three games in all competitions, six goals in all. Enzo Fernández (€6.5m) completes the squad after eight points in his last appearance, the Argentinian at Qarabağ with Chelsea.

Man City vs Borussia Dortmund face-off

Forwards

The Scout opts to overlook joint-top scorers Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé, with Bayern München at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid travelling to Liverpool. There is, however, a place for Erling Haaland (€10.6m), two goals on Sunday making it 17 in the Norwegian's 13 Manchester City appearances this season ahead of a reunion with former club Borussia Dortmund.

Former City forward Julián Alvarez (€9.0m) was also on target at the weekend and has a goal and two assists in the Champions League before Union SG visit Madrid. Lautaro Martínez (€9.5m) has three goals in this season's competition, finding the net in both his appearances, and has scored in eight of his last ten Champions League outings prior to facing Kairat.
