As the UEFA Champions League enters the second half of the league phase, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli provide three players each for the Scout's Matchday 5 squad on #UCLfantasy, presented by PlayStation, with Real Madrid and Monaco each having two representatives.
Goalkeepers
Both goalkeepers selected for Matchday 5 kept a clean sheet in their last Champions League appearance. Vanja Milinković-Savić (€4.0m) recorded his first shut-out of the league phase as Napoli drew 0-0 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt last time out and next faces a Qarabağ side that have never beaten Italian opponents in six previous attempts, losing all three games in Italy.
Monaco's Philipp Köhn (€4.5m) has collected 13 Fantasy points from his last two outings, keeping clean sheets in both. Matchday 5 opponents Pafos have managed only two goals in their four league phase fixtures ahead of their home game against the French side.
Defenders
Köhn's Monaco team-mate Jordan Teze (€4.2m) is also included, thanks to both his budget-friendly price tag and 23 Fantasy points from only three appearances this season – despite that, the defender is in only 1% of squads, also giving him differential appeal. At the other end of the popularity scale, Nuno Mendes (€6.3m) is both the most-selected and the second-highest scoring defender with 43% and 38 points respectively and is included for Paris Saint-Germain's home fixture against Tottenham.
Abdülkerim Bardakcı (€4.5m) has picked up 17 Fantasy points from three games and is another player with home advantage on Matchday 5, when Galatasaray welcome Union Saint-Gilloise to Istanbul. Rayan Aït-Nouri (€5.0m) made his first appearance in this season's competition on Matchday 4 and has another opportunity to showcase his potential at both ends of the field when Manchester City take on Bayer Leverkusen, while Junnosuke Suzuki (€3.9m) will hope to help Copenhagen earn their first victory of this Champions League campaign when Kairat Almaty, also without a win, visit Denmark.
Midfielders
There is a Paris double-up in midfield, where Vitinha (€7.1m) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€8.1m) are both included to take on Spurs at Parc des Princes; the latter has two double-figure Fantasy scores in three games this season, while Vitinha has a minimum of four points from all four of his games and 26 overall. Phil Foden (€7.9m) has managed two more points in total and is set to get the chance to add to his two goals and one assist against Bayer Leverkusen in Manchester.
With Pedro Gonçalves an injury doubt for Sporting CP's home game against Club Brugge due to a muscle problem, there is a reshuffle to complete the midfield quintet. Fresh from helping to inspire Scotland to FIFA World Cup qualification, Scott McTominay (€7.0m) is included after 17 points in Napoli's last two games, while Jude Bellingham (€8.4m) has three goals and two assists in his last four appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid, who visit Olympiacos on Wednesday.
Forwards
The attacking line is made up of two of the five top-scoring forwards on the game; with Victor Osimhen an injury doubt and Harry Kane away at Arsenal – despite his fine scoring record against the Gunners – Kylian Mbappé (€10.8m) is backed to add to his 35 Fantasy points for Real Madrid in Greece. Erling Haaland (€10.7m) has 31 points – and is level with Mbappé on five goals – and will be keen to rediscover his scoring touch after failing to find the net on Saturday for only the second time in 19 matches for club and country.
The forward line is completed by Rasmus Højlund (€6.2m) for Napoli's home game against Qarabağ; the Denmark international was on target during the international break and his two goals in this season's Champions League both came in Naples, in a Matchday 2 defeat of Sporting CP.
