The final round of UEFA Champions League games in 2025 gives managers one last chance to climb the standings before the year is out and the Scout is backing players from Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus to deliver big returns on Matchday 6, when Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund both provide two players for the squad on #UCLfantasy, presented by PlayStation.
Goalkeepers
Both goalkeepers selected have home games against sides that have been short of goals in the league phase. Guglielmo Vicario (€5.1m) is the fourth-highest scorer among players in his position with 26 Fantasy points and is in action on Tuesday against Slavia Praha, who have managed only two goals in their first four matches.
Juventus are without a clean sheet in this season's Champions League – indeed, they have conceded ten goals in their first five matches – but Matchday 6 opponents Pafos have failed to find the net in their first two away games, so Michele Di Gregorio (€4.4m) is selected for Wednesday's fixtures.
Defenders
The favourable home fixtures for Tottenham and Juventus mean both are also represented among the five defenders. Spurs centre-back Micky van de Ven (€5.1m) is joint-fourth for Fantasy points in his position with 36, while Juve's Lloyd Kelly (€4.7m) has collected seven of his 19 points overall from ball recoveries.
The back line is completed by players in the upper echelons of the scoring charts for defenders, led by Paris Saint-Germain full-back Nuno Mendes (€6.3m), whose 39 Fantasy points is the joint-highest total among defenders ahead of a trip to Athletic Club, who have failed to scored in three of their five fixtures. Leverkusen's Alejandro Grimaldo (€6.0m) has 36 points thanks to two goals and an assist in addition to clean sheets in the last two games, while Jurriën Timber (€5.0m) has kept three clean sheets with Arsenal, who visit Club Brugge.
Midfielders
The triple-ups for Tottenham and Juventus are completed in midfield, Xavi Simons (€6.5m) looking to add to his single assist in this season's competition; Juve's Kenan Yıldız (€6.7m) has two plus one goal. With the majority of the top-scoring midfielders facing tough-looking fixtures, Scott McTominay (€7.0m) is selected for Napoli's trip to Benfica having scored 15 points on Matchday 5.
Karim Adeyemi (€7.1m) also reached double figures last time out, picking up ten points as Borussia Dortmund won 4-0 at home to Villarreal, and the German side next welcome winless Bodø/Glimt. Michael Olise (€8.2m) also has a home fixture, Bayern München facing Sporting CP with the winger having four assists and a goal already.
Forwards
Although Harry Kane (€10.8m) failed to find the net in Bayern's Matchday 5 loss at Arsenal, he is still joint-third for Fantasy scoring among forwards on 38 points. Saturday's Bundesliga hat-trick off the bench was a timely reminder of his potency as he looks to add to his five Champions League goals this season.
Serhou Guirassy (€8.2m) has three goals and two assists, two of those strikes coming against Villarreal on Matchday 5 to continue his fine scoring record in the Champions League. Ferran Torres (€7.0m) has two goals before Barcelona play Eintracht Frankfurt in Spain but 11 in La Liga – already his best return for an entire season – including three on Saturday to make it four in his last two appearances.
