In the final round of UEFA Champions League fixtures in 2025, 12 players scored 12 points or more, five producing a total of at least 15. UEFA.com assesses the best-performing players on Matchday 6 of #UCLfantasy, presented by PlayStation.
GOALKEEPERS
Despite his side being beaten 1-0 at Monaco, Galatasaray goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır (€5.0m) picked up 12 Fantasy points. After making four saves including a penalty, the 29-year-old was forced off with an injury and so earned clean sheet points despite Galatasaray conceding straight afterwards.
Nine goalkeepers recorded clean sheets on Matchday 6, including Olympiacos' Kostas Tzolakis (€4.2m). However, despite a 1-0 win at Kairat Almaty, the Greek's six-point score was exceeded by opposite number Temirlan Anarbekov (€4.0m), named Player of the Match for seven Fantasy points in total following his eight saves.
Unai Simón (€5.0m) was the only other goalkeeper alongside Çakır to register a double-figure Fantasy score after helping Athletic Club hold Paris Saint-Germain to a goalless draw. Player of the Match following his five saves against the European champions, Simón earned ten points while fellow Spaniard David Raya (€5.5m) picked up eight after his fifth clean sheet of this season's league phase as Arsenal made it six wins from six.
DEFENDERS
The highest Fantasy total of Matchday 6 came from a defender, Jules Koundé (€5.5m) scoring both of Barcelona's goals in a 2-1 home win against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Player of the Match award followed, Koundé gaining a season-high 18 points as a result.
Defenders proved lucrative selections over the course of Matchday 6 with seven managing ten Fantasy points or more. That includes Cristian Romero (€5.0m), the Tottenham centre-back scoring 11 points after an assist and seven ball recoveries in a 3-0 win against Slavia Praha.
Another Premier League defender to pick up 11 Fantasy points was Nico O'Reilly (€4.0m), whose goal helped Manchester City win at Real Madrid. Another Player of the Match, O'Reilly should draw attention moving forward when considering his cheap price tag. Other budget defenders also scored heavily from a Fantasy perspective, including Athletic's Daniel Vivian (€4.3m) and Haitam Aleesami (€4.2m) of Bodø/Glimt, who both gained ten points.
MIDFIELDERS
Arsenal maintained their 100% record in this season's league phase with a 3-0 win at Club Brugge on Wednesday, winger Noni Madueke (€6.4m) scoring twice including one from outside the box. In doing so, the England international racked up 17 points after winning the Player of the Match award.
Three other midfielders were on the scoresheet twice. Both Julian Brandt (€6.9m) and Oscar Gloukh (€5.0m) finished on 16 points following their doubles for Dortmund and Ajax respectively, while Union SG's Anan Khalaili (€4.5m) managed 15 for two goals and seven ball recoveries despite the Belgian champions losing 2-3 to Marseille.
Of the top five highest-scoring Fantasy midfielders overall, four found the net on Matchday 6: Igor Paixão (€6.4m), Dominik Szoboszlai (€6.9m), Gabriel Martinelli (€7.8m) and Anthony Gordon (€7.1m). Gordon's goal and assist for Newcastle gave him his second 14-point return of the campaign while Arsenal's Martinelli continued his run of scoring in every league phase appearance this season.
FORWARDS
Matchday 6 was notable for the performances of many differential forwards. Mason Greenwood (€7.1m) registered the highest Fantasy total in his position after his two goals led Marseille to victory at Union SG, the Player of the Match award making it 13 points for the matchday.
Charles De Ketelaere (€6.0m) followed his 13-point haul on Matchday 5 with 12 more as Atalanta defeated Chelsea in Bergamo. A goal and an assist earned De Ketelaere the Player of the Match award, his points return equalled by just one other forward, Atlético de Madrid's Alexander Sørloth (€7.2m) also scoring one goal and setting up another in a 3-2 win at PSV Eindhoven.
Of the notable highly-owned strikers, Erling Haaland (€10.7m) was the standout performer, the Manchester City striker scoring eight points after winning and converting a penalty against Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappé – an unused substitute – Harry Kane or Serhou Guirassy did not provide an attacking return; conversely budget option Mohamed Elyounoussi (€4.9m) doubled his Fantasy tally for the season, producing nine points in Copenhagen's 3-2 victory at Villarreal.
