GOALKEEPERS
Popular pick
Thibaut Courtois (€6.1m) vs Monaco (H)
Courtois comes into Matchday 7 as the third highest-owned goalkeeper having made 21 saves across his last three Champions League appearances for Real Madrid, providing Fantasy owners with another route to points aside from clean sheets, of which Courtois has two so far. At home to Monaco, the Belgian will be eying up a third in Álvaro Arbeloa's first Champions League game as head coach.

Potential differential
Michele Di Gregorio (€4.3m) vs Benfica (H)
One of the most in-form goalkeepers set to feature on Matchday 7, Di Gregorio has recorded consecutive Serie A clean sheets at the time of writing, the Juventus No1's most recent Champions League appearance featuring four saves and seven Fantasy points as the Bianconeri defeated Pafos 2-0. Back in Turin against Benfica, Juve will be eying up another three points and Di Gregorio stands out as a cheap low-owned option in goal.

DEFENDERS
Popular pick
Virgil van Dijk (€6.2m) vs Marseille (A)
Not only is Van Dijk among the most popular defenders, the Dutchman has also been one of the higher Fantasy scorers and is one of only five defenders to have already passed the 40-point mark. Van Dijk has two goals, two clean sheets and 28 ball recoveries for Liverpool, also being named Player of the Match twice. With the Reds lying outside the top eight in the league phase ranking, three points at Marseille is critical and Van Dijk could have a big role to play.

Potential differential
Giorgio Scalvini (€4.4m) vs Athletic Club (H)
Since returning from injury at the start of 2026, Scalvini has been capturing attention for his performances in Serie A. Atalanta are yet to concede this year, keeping clean sheets in their last three matches, all of which Scalvini has started. The 22-year-old also showed his attacking threat with a goal in a 1-0 win over Roma and could make only his second Champions League appearance of the season against an Athletic Club side that have not scored in their last three league phase games.

MIDFIELDERS
Popular pick
Vitinha (€7.2m) vs Sporting CP (A)
This has been a successful league phase campaign for Vitinha, with no midfielder matching his overall Fantasy score of 53 points. The Portuguese international scored a hat-trick against Tottenham on Matchday 5, helping him accumulate a massive 22 Fantasy points. One of only two midfielders with an ownership of over 30%, Vitinha has scored five or more points in five of his six games this season.

Potential differential
Anthony Gordon (€7.1m) vs PSV Eindhoven (H)
Despite an ownership percentage of less than 10%, only Vitinha has more Fantasy points than Gordon this season. The Newcastle winger scored, provided an assist and took the Player of the Match award on his way to 14 points at Leverkusen on Matchday 6, his third double-figure Fantasy score of the season taking his overall tally to 50. Gordon has five goals and two assists in the league phase so far.

Popular pick
Harry Kane (€10.8m) vs Union SG (H)
A significant portion of Fantasy managers will have their eyes upon Kane and the potential for a huge Matchday 7 return. Bayern's striker is enjoying an incredible 2025/26, scoring 31 goals in 26 appearances for the German champions, but he has not found the net in his last three Champions League games. That has been a rare blip for a player who has 20 goals in his first 16 Bundesliga appearances this season, including six in his last four.

Potential differential
Robert Lewandowski (€9.3m) vs Slavia Praha (A)
Although he is yet to find the net in this season's league phase, Lewandowski is a proven Champions League goalscorer behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the competition's all-time ranking. The Pole scored in two of Barcelona's first three games this year, and although selecting him comes with an element of risk considering his high price tag, his Fantasy points ceiling is also high.
