GOALKEEPERS

Having made six saves in Olympiacos' 2-0 win over Leverkusen, Kostas Tzolakis (€4.2m) emerged from Matchday 7 with the highest Fantasy score of any goalkeeper, picking up 11 points after being named Player of the Match. Tzolakis has now registered back-to-back league phase clean sheets.

Both Nick Pope (€5.0m) of Newcastle and Tottenham's Guglielmo Vicario (€5.1m) earned six points as their teams secured victories against PSV Eindhoven and Borussia Dortmund respectively, while Alisson Becker (€5.9m) picked up seven points after making three saves in Liverpool's 3-0 win at Marseille.

Despite not keeping a clean sheet, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (€4.1m) gained the second highest score of any goalkeeper on Matchday 7 after saving a penalty in Napoli's 1-1 draw at Copenhagen. The 28-year-old earned eight points and has made at least three saves in all seven of the Italian champions' fixtures.

DEFENDERS

One of the most in-form players from a Fantasy perspective, Cristian Romero (€5.0m) made it consecutive double-figure returns when he followed up his 11 points on Matchday 6 with 14 on Matchday 7, the top score among defenders. The Tottenham centre-back found the net in a 2-0 win against Dortmund, seven ball recoveries further increasing his Fantasy total.

Another Spurs defender who came away with a sizeable score was Pedro Porro (€5.0m), who picked up the Player of the Match award and made 14 ball recoveries from right-back, earning a total of 13 points.

Three other defenders ended Matchday 7 with double-figure Fantasy scores. Olympiacos pair Costinha (€3.8m) and Rodinei (€4.0m) registered 13 and 12 points respectively and their bargain price tags may draw attention from Fantasy managers while Club Brugge centre-back Brandon Mechele (€4.8m) was on the scoresheet against Kairat, leading to ten points.

MIDFIELDERS

No Fantasy player in any position could match the Matchday 7 score of Vinícius Júnior (€9.5m), who laid on a hat-trick of assists while also finding the net himself in Real Madrid's 6-1 defeat of Monaco. Those four attacking returns led to the Brazilian being named Player of the Match, recording a massive 20 Fantasy points.

Continuing his outstanding form in this season's Champions League, Anthony Gordon (€7.1m) was among the points again after scoring his sixth goal of the league phase against PSV. The Newcastle winger secured eight points to take his overall Fantasy score to 58, level with Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai (€7.0m), who was also on the scoresheet on Matchday 7. With at least one attacking return in each of the last five matchdays, Szoboszlai now has 48 Fantasy points over that period following his 13 against Marseille.

Barcelona's Fermín López (€6.7m) scored twice away to Slava Praha in a 4-2 win to give him 16 points, one less than Athletic Club's Roberto Navarro (€5.0m). Starting in an advanced role, Navarro registered a goal, two assists and the Player of the Match in his side's 3-2 win at Atalanta.
