Two former UEFA Champions League winners meet at the conclusion of the league phase as Borussia Dortmund welcome Inter with both still having hope of a top-eight finish despite defeats last time out.
Dortmund are on 11 points, one behind Inter, who are 14th in the league phase standings ahead of Matchday 8 with their German opponents 16th.

The clubs are meeting for the first time since the 2019/20 group stage, when Inter won 2-0 at home on Matchday 3 – Lautaro Martínez scoring the first goal – before Dortmund responded with a 3-2 home victory on Matchday 4 despite Martínez again giving Inter the lead; Julian Brandt got Dortmund's second goal.
