Champions League knockout phase play-off contenders

Weston McKennie (€6.1m) – Juventus

The midfielder is enjoying the best goalscoring season of his career and Fantasy managers should take note of his recent output in both domestic and European matches. The United States international has scored in his last two Serie A appearances, and four of his last seven, and has also struck in three of his last four Champions League outings. Having picked up an additional seven Fantasy points through ball recoveries, McKennie is a strong option to consider when Juventus face Galatasaray on Matchday 9.

Ousmane Dembélé (€9.8m) – Paris Saint-Germain

A penalty miss against Newcastle on Matchday 8 may have dulled Fantasy interest in Dembélé to some extent, but the Paris forward's recent form remains strong. The Frenchman has 11 attacking returns in his last ten appearances across all competitions – seven goals and four assists – and also has ten goal involvements in his nine career meetings with knockout phase play-off opponents Monaco.

Champions League league phase highlights

Serhou Guirassy (€8.3m) – Dortmund

While Guirassy may have only struck three times during the league phase – compared to nine last season – all three goals came at home, and with Dortmund welcoming Atalanta to Germany on Matchday 9, there is bound to be Fantasy interest in the Guinean international. That is likely to increase thanks to three goals in his last two Bundesliga games, making it nine for the season.

Federico Dimarco (€5.5m) – Inter

Undoubtedly the form defender in terms of goal involvements, Dimarco recorded a hat-trick of assists in Inter's 5-0 Serie A win at Sassuolo on 8 February to make it eight attacking returns in his last four appearances. That includes 18 Fantasy points against Dortmund on Matchday 8, no other player managing more, meaning Dimarco is sure to court plenty of interest from Fantasy managers for the trip to Bodø/Glimt.

Mehdi Taremi (€6.7m) – Olympiacos

Fantasy bosses in the market for a differential forward should consider the merits of Olympiacos' Taremi, who has either a goal or an assist in each of the Greek side's last four Champions League games, while his last nine appearances in all competitions have brought eight attacking returns. On Matchday 9 Olympiacos are at home to a Bayer Leverkusen side they beat 2-0 in their penultimate league phase fixture with Taremi scoring the second goal.
