Champions League Fantasy Football: Forwards for every budget

Forwards available at different price points are analysed as managers prepare their squads for Matchday 1 of UCL Fantasy, presented by PlayStation.

PREMIUM OPTIONS

After 29 goals and 197 Fantasy points between them last season, both Harry Kane (€11.0m) and Kylian Mbappé (€11.0m) have been given a price increase for 2026/27 and are joined by Erling Haaland (€11.0m). Despite the trio being priced €1m more than any other player in their position, they are still the three highest-owned forwards among Fantasy managers at present.

Ousmane Dembélé (€10.0m) reached double figures for attacking returns during Paris Saint-Germain's successful trophy defence while Inter's Lautaro Martínez (€9.5m) has scored 13 goals in his last two Champions League campaigns and should have a key role to play again for the Italian champions this season.

Viktor Gyökeres (€8.5m) and Serhou Guirassy (€8.5m) both recorded seven Champions League goal involvements last season, for Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

MID-PRICED OPTIONS

Leading the way in this price range is Victor Osimhen (€8.0m), who earned 68 Fantasy points in 2025/26 and managed five goals and two assists in Galatasaray's first three domestic games of the season. The Turkish champions open with a trip to Sporting CP on Matchday 1.

Arsenal's Kai Havertz (€8.0m) and Napoli's Rasmus Højlund (€8.0m) have also been on target in the early stages of the season, as has Alexander Isak (€7.5m). After an injury-hit debut campaign at Liverpool that featured just 286 minutes of Champions League football, the Swede looks a tempting Fantasy proposition now he has returned to full fitness.

There are a number of tempting options at €0.5m cheaper than Isak, including two players at new clubs – Ferran Torres (€7.0m) and Karim Adeyemi (€7.0m). Both may be considered risks in regards to number of minutes played at Paris and Barcelona, so a safer choice may be Luis Suárez (€7.0m), who scored 38 goals in all competitions for Sporting CP last season – including five in the Champions League. Nicolo Tresoldi (€7.0m) and Bryan Mbeumo (€7.0m) hold appeal, but the injured Alexander Sørloth (€7.0m) may miss Matchday 1.

BUDGET OPTIONS

Perhaps the standout budget pick is Donyell Malen (€6.5m), who has been a revelation since joining Roma in January. The Dutchman has scored 20 goals in 22 appearances for the Serie A outfit, including five in just two this season.

Veteran forward Olivier Giroud (€6.5m) is back in the Champions League at the age of 39 and has made a positive start to the season at Lille with a goal and two assists in Ligue 1, the latter in a 2-2 draw with European champions Paris. Another striker returning to the Champions League is Manchester United's Benjamin Šeško (€6.5m), who scored four goals for Leipzig in his last Champions League campaign in 2024/25.

Ricardo Pepi (€6.0m) has two goals for free-scoring PSV Eindhoven this season and looks to be on penalty duty, while Pio Esposito (€5.0m) – should he be given regular minutes in Europe – could prove excellent value for money for Fantasy managers in the hunt for a budget attacker. The Italian international started Inter's first two Serie A matches this season, scoring once, and features in 11% of Fantasy squads.
