Coach: Jindřich Trpišovský

Slavia coach since 2017, Trpišovský has led his side to five national titles and four Czech Cups, and has kept them competitive in European competitions too. Forced to abandon hopes of a playing career as a teenager, he coached in youth football and was hired by Slavia following stints at Viktoria Žižkov and Slovan Liberec.

Key player: Lukáš Provod

Winger and attacking midfielder Provod has been a central figure for Slavia Praha since 2019, accumulating more than 200 appearances and 50 assists. The Czech international is excellent at inventing for team-mates, a quality he showed with a pair of assists for Youssoupha Mbodji on Matchday 1 last season.

Big summer signing: Ange N'Guessan

Centre-back N'Guessan represented Lens and then Torino at youth level before gaining senior experience during a loan spell with NK Bravo in Slovenia. A move to Czech side Slovan Liberec followed in 2025, N'Guessan impressing with 29 appearances across all competitions in his one and only season in Liberec.

One to watch: Youssoupha Sanyang

Last season was the first at the club for the 21-year-old winger following his transfer from Swedish outfit Östers. Already a full international for Gambia, Sanyang made six Champions League appearances last term and became a more regular starter in the league as the campaign progressed.
