Matchday 1 may be over on Champions League Fantasy Football, presented by PlayStation, but you can still join over a million managers who've already signed up to challenge their friends, compete in mini-leagues and be in with a chance of claiming some fantastic prizes!
Players to pick
Although late joiners for UCL Fantasy have missed out on Matchday 1, there can also be advantages to that. Firstly, there are still unlimited transfers for managers who sign up to play ahead of Matchday 2, while the Matchday 1 performances and line-ups can offer useful guidance to make smarter picks for your squad.
Looking back at the opening set of league phase fixtures, bargain defenders such as Leny Yoro (€4.0m) and Carlos Augusto (€4.0m) scored nine and eight points respectively, while Marc Bartra (€4.5m) registered the third highest total overall on 18.
At the other end of price chart, Michael Olise (MF, €9.0m) was the highest scorer overall on 21 points with Ousmane Dembélé (€10.0m), Raphinha (€9.5m) and Erling Haaland (€11.0m) among those to also reach double figures – key information to help new managers mould their 15-player squads.
Chips
If you're still to sign up, don't worry! You still get the chance to use your Limitless chip –giving you the chance to pick an all-star squad with no budget restrictions, and you'll also have a Wildcard to use, both of which can be played on later Matchdays.
Mini-leagues
All Fantasy teams are included in the global leagues, plus leagues involving managers who support the same Champions League team as you – and you can still create your own mini-leagues. That means if you set one up before Matchday 2, you can challenge your friends to compete against you for the rest of the season!
Prizes
Fantasy managers can compete to win fantastic prizes. In addition to the season-long competitions, including tickets to the 2028 Champions League final, an official match ball or a team jersey of your choice, there are prizes for both the league and knockout phases overall and a PlayStation®5 to be won for the top scorer on each matchday – regardless of when you sign up!
