Leipzig will look to get their UEFA Champions League campaign off the mark as PSV Eindhoven visit Germany on Matchday 2.

Previous meetings

This is the first match between the sides and Leipzig's first with a Dutch team.

PSV are winless in their last six matches against German sides (D2 L4), losing the most recent 1-2 at home against Bayern München on Matchday 8 last season.

A 1-1 draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 2 last season, PSV's last game in Germany, means the Dutch club have won only one of their 21 away matches against Bundesliga opponents (D5 L15) – 2-1 at Eintracht Braunschweig in the 1977/78 UEFA Cup third round second leg (4-1 aggregate).
