UEFA.com highlights five in-form players who could make an impact on Matchday 2 of UCL Fantasy, presented by PlayStation.
CARLOS AUGUSTO (€4.0m) – INTER
Although Carlos Augusto has stiff competition for Inter's wing-back spots, Fantasy managers may want to consider a calculated risk on the Brazilian ahead of a Matchday 2 fixture at home to Club Brugge. The 27-year-old, priced at €4.0m and featuring in just 3% of Fantasy squads, showed his attacking prowess with a goal against Real Madrid on Matchday 1, following that with a further strike against Udinese in Serie A.
LAMINE YAMAL (€10.0m) – BARCELONA
Yamal is producing a sustained period of devastating displays which makes him a difficult player to ignore for Fantasy managers. Over his last ten appearances for Barcelona and Spain, the 19-year-old has 19 goal involvements – 12 goals and seven assists – which includes three attacking returns in Barça's Matchday 1 win at home to Feyenoord. Featuring in over a third of Fantasy squads, Yamal's form makes him an attractive option for the away game at Galatasaray on Matchday 2.
HARRY KANE (€11.0m) – BAYERN MÜNCHEN
One of only two forwards selected by over 50% of Fantasy managers, Kane delivered his vast ownership a goal and assist against Bodø/Glimt on Matchday 1, and more returns can be expected given his recent output. The Bayern striker's last eight starts for club and country have yielded 12 goals, including six in four UEFA Nations League contests for England. Bayern face Viking in Norway on Matchday 2.
NICOLÁS PAZ (€7.0m) – COMO
European debutants Como made a fine start to the league phase, beating Leipzig 4-1 with Paz gaining eight points after five ball recoveries and two assists. The Argentinian has since enjoyed a fruitful international break, scoring in each of his nation's last three matches and has four goals and four assists in his last seven appearances for club and country. Como visit Feyenoord on Matchday 2, with Paz representing a reasonably-priced Fantasy option in midfield.
JUDE BELLINGHAM (€8.5m) – REAL MADRID
Although he finished on just three Fantasy points in Real Madrid's Matchday 1 triumph at home to Inter, Bellingham remains a popular midfield choice and his recent performances on international duty are unlikely to lessen that interest. After an assist against Spain in England's Nations League opener, Bellingham demonstrated his explosive potential with a goal and three more assists in a 7-0 victory against Croatia. Those are promising numbers ahead of a Matchday 2 fixture against Roma.
