The Scout's squad for UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 features representatives from no less than 11 clubs, with Arsenal, Como and Sporting CP all providing two players and Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund among the sides also featuring. Goalkeepers
Tuesday's fixtures look complicated in terms of clean sheets, so the Scout has opted for a budget selection. Nikita Haikin (€4.5m) has conceded nine goals in his two away games but kept a clean sheet in his sole home fixture as Bodø/Glimt defeated Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 2; the Norwegian side are at home to Lille this week.
Wednesday's selection is David Raya (€6.0m) of Arsenal, who conceded his first goals of this season's league phase at Bayern München last time out. The Spain international has two clean sheets and is the top-scoring goalkeeper overall on 15 Fantasy points; he has let in only four goals in his last nine Champions League appearances, a run that includes six clean sheets.
Defenders
There is also an Arsenal player in the back line with the Gunners away to Slavia Praha, where they won 3-0 last season; Jurriën Timber, Ezri Konsa and Riccardo Calafiori are all worthy of consideration, but Gabriel (€6.0m) is probably the most secure way into the Arsenal defence. Como's Jacobo Ramón (€4.0m) picked up 12 points from the Matchday 3 win against Manchester United, giving him 21 for the season; the Italian debutants now visit Lens, who have lost their last two league phase matches.
Sporting CP are looking to get back on track after defeat last time out; the Lions are away to Shakhtar Donetsk with Sergi Altimira (€4.0m) having picked up 11 points across the last two matchdays. Differential pick Yvan Dibango (€4.0m) is 0%-owned for LASK's game with Slovan Bratislava having scored eight Fantasy points in his previous home fixture, while Gianni Stensness (€4.5m) matched that total in his last home outing, against Bayern München; his Viking side face Sabah in Norway.
Midfielders
As ever, attacking players from Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are hard to ignore with those three clubs having scored 35 goals between them already. Raphinha (€9.7m) is selected ahead of Lamine Yamal for Barça's home fixture against Aston Villa having hit 15 Liga goals already, including three in his last two games, while Yan Diomande (€7.5m) has 16 Fantasy points as part of four goals and three assists from his last six Madrid appearances before an away game at Leipzig.
Rested at the weekend, Désiré Doué (€8.5m) registered a goal and an assist in Paris' Matchday 3 victory to make it three goals and two assists in his last four club appearances; his next challenge is at Villarreal, who have conceded eight goals in three games. Scott McTominay (€7.4m) scored twice in Napoli's Matchday 3 win and will again provide plenty of attacking threat at point-less Porto and Nico Paz (€7.0m) scored twice and set up another on Matchday 3; the Argentinian has four goals and three assists in his last four Como outings.
Forwards
The Scout has, for once, opted against including any of the top-priced attackers despite the records of Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland in this season's Champions League. Borussia Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy (€8.6m) is joint-top scorer with Kane and Haaland, among others, and will look to add to his four-goal tally at home to Real Betis, who have conceded twice in two of their first three games; Guirassy has three goals in his last three appearances in all competitions.
Victor Osimhen (€7.9m) is also in a rich vein of form, scoring in Galatasaray's last three games, four goals in all. The Nigerian has 12 in his last 11 games before facing Stuttgart in Istanbul. Sporting's Luis Suárez (€7.3m) did not find the net at the weekend but had scored in his previous ten club appearances, registering 12 goals, and has four in three Champions League matches before taking on Shakhtar.
