Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach
I think tonight we had more balance. The team was more compact and we tried to play deeper. The players followed the game plan we had prepared this week very well and the change in our attitude was very good. We modified the system to use the flanks more and to create more open spaces. We had little space in midfield and that's why we made this change, because København are a very strong team. Our players have the quality to use all possible systems.

Iker Casillas played well, he made some great saves in the last few minutes. He is very important to the squad. He is a top professional and he helps his team-mates a lot.

Ståle Solbakken, København coach
Our performance was acceptable until they scored their second goal. After that a huge mistake by us led to them making it 3-0, and finally some poor passing in midfield resulted in their fourth goal. Our first half was OK; we had three opportunities, one of which might have decided the match, Nicolai Jørgensen's header against the crossbar.

Real Madrid score 70% of their goals on the counterattack, and at first we were really good at preventing those. Therefore it was a bit sad to see Ronaldo make it 1-0 after a mistake from Johan Wiland, but then again Johan made some important saves in our first match so he should not be blamed. However, we might well have been leading at half-time instead of being behind.
