Serbian champions FK Crvena Zvezda have signed goalkeeper Saša Radivojević from Apollon Limassol FC as a replacement for Vladimir Stojković who has joined FC Nantes Atlantique.
'Best available option'
The 27-year-old arrives in Belgrade after only one season in Cyprus but with the experience of spells with FK Novi Beograd and FK Zeta, where he accumulated more than a century of appearances. "This club needs four goalkeepers, and we believe Radivojević is the best available option," said Crvena Zvezda official Stevan Stojanović. Radivojević, a former Serbo-Montenegrin Under-21 international, succeeds the France-bound Stojković, who kept goal for his country at this summer's UEFA European U21 Championship.
