FC Bayern München defender Lucio is a doubt for the first leg of his team's UEFA Champions League quarter-final at FC Barcelona on Wednesday after suffering a thigh injury.
Worries
The 30-year-old Brazilian hurt an adductor muscle in Bayern's 5-1 loss at new Bundesliga leaders VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday, and coach Jürgen Klinsmann said: "We don't know yet if he will be sidelined for longer." Daniel Van Buyten is also currently absent for personal reasons in Belgium. Klinsmann added: "Daniel has been allowed to leave for as long as he sees fit. This is a family situation that has absolute priority over football." Martín Demichelis and Breno are the main candidates to fill in for Lucio.
