Three first-half goals helped Borussia Dortmund to a comfortable victory at Galatasaray AŞ and maintained the German side's 100% record in UEFA Champions League Group D.

Dortmund were in total control from the moment Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave them a sixth-minute lead, the striker adding his and Dortmund's second 12 minutes later. Marco Reus added a majestic third to put the game beyond the hosts' reach even before half-time, substitute Adrián Ramos crowning the night with a fourth 60 seconds after his introduction.

The visitors began brightly and took an early lead when Aubameyang capped a typically rapid attack. After Galatasaray's Goran Pandev lost the ball, Dortmund countered quickly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan sent the ball down the left for Reus, whose perfect cross left Aubameyang with a tap-in.

It was a similar story for Dortmund's second. This time Łukasz Piszczek supplied the ball from the right and Aubameyang, again unmarked, once more applied the finishing touch. The Gabon forward might had had a hat-trick on the half-hour after another good delivery from Mkhitaryan found him unmarked again, but this time he was denied by the post.

By that stage Shinji Kagawa had also gone close for Dortmund. At the other end Galatasaray's best chance came when Burak Yılmaz beat the offside trap to connect with a long ball, but Neven Subotić retreated quickly andtimed his tackle perfectly before the striker could get his shot away.

Four minutes before half-time Dortmund were 3-0 up. Such was the quality of Reus' audacious 30-metre lob past Fernando Muslera, who was off his line, that even the home fans could not help but applaud.

Galatasaray had more of the ball after the break but were unable to carve out any decent openings, and it was Dortmund who had the final word on the night. Ramos collected a pass from fellow replacement İlkay Gündoğan, controlled with his first touch of the match and slotted past Muslera with his second – the clinical nature of the strike summed up Dortmund's night.
