🌍 Accessible travel to Dublin

By plane ✈️

If you require additional assistance, make sure you inform your airline, travel agent or tour operator at least 48 hours before the departure of your flight to Dublin. Visit the dedicated mobility and accessibility page for detailed information on the services and facilities available for travellers needing assistance at Dublin Airport.

By ferry ⛴️

Ferries to and from Ireland use accessible ships. If you need assistance with getting on and off, it’s recommended to give your ferry operator as much notice as possible so that they can make the necessary arrangements for you.

By train 🚄

If you plan to arrive in Dublin by train, inform Irish Rail of your travel requirements so that they can ensure that staff will be available to provide assistance. Contact information and further details can be found on the Irish Rail accessibility page.

🏙️ Accessible travel around Dublin

Public transport in Dublin is fully accessible. The Luas tram is probably the easiest mode of transport if you have a mobility impairment, but all Dublin Bus vehicles have low-floor access too. Each Dublin Bus has the ability to transport two wheelchair users at once. Dublin’s rail system is accessible, although contact the departing station in advance as assistance may have to be provided.

⚽ Stadium accessibility

Even if you have been to Dublin Arena before, please keep in mind that things may work slightly differently than on usual matchdays at the venue.
