Fan Festival

The UEFA Europa League Fan Festival will be in full swing in the centre of Dublin, kicking off on Tuesday 21 May in the lead-up to the final. It is open to everyone so come and join the electric atmosphere, meet fellow fans and get in the festive football spirit! ⚽🎉

Located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of Dublin Arena, Dublin Castle is a historical site which was handed over to the new Irish government in 1922, following Ireland's independence, and now serves as a major government complex and popular tourist attraction. Built on the site of a Viking settlement in the thirteenth century, the castle’s historic architecture and fascinating gardens make the Fan Festival a perfect place to visit before heading to the final.

Official shop 🧣

Stock up on official Europa League merchandise at the Fan Shop located within the Fan Festival! The range features a variety of products specific to the UEFA Europa League final 2024 and both finalist teams. You’ll find everything from t-shirts, hats, scarves and collectable items such as keychains and pins.

You’ll also find another Fan Shop in the city centre open from 18 to 22 May between 11:00 and 19:00.

Food & drink 🍟

There’ll be plenty of concession stands serving food and drink at the Fan Festival. You’ll be able to use both cashless payment options and cash (euro).

No Public Viewing at the Fan Festival 📺

The Fan Festival will close at 17:00 on matchday, allowing you enough time to get to Dublin Arena if you have a match ticket.

🧭 Getting to the Fan Festival

The Fan Festival at Dublin Castle is in the middle of the city and close to every key location, which makes walking the best way to reach it.

If you want to use public transport, there are multiple options available in Dublin depending on where you’re travelling from.

No public parking for cars will be available close to the Fan Festival. Give your wheels a break and either use public transport or walk through the city.

Festival entry and security ✅

Do underage attendees need to be accompanied by an adult?

There is no minimum age to enter the Fan Festival, but we recommend underage attendees be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring a bag or a stroller into the Fan Festival?

Yes, but you will need to keep your belongings with you at all times as there is no bag deposit service.

Are there items I’m not allowed to bring in?

For the safety of all attending, please avoid bringing items which are deemed illegal or unsafe to the Fan Festival. Prohibited items include:

  • Any kind of sharp objects (including knives) or weapons
  • Any illegal recreational drugs
  • Food or drink, including alcohol
  • Scooters, segways or bicycles
  • Drones
  • Glass
  • Lasers or electronic pointers
  • Any political, racist or xenophobic materials
  • Flags or banners larger than 2m
  • Promotional or commercial materials
  • Aerosols or flammable substances
  • Fireworks and flares

No bag deposit service will be available at the Fan Festival.

Will there be toilet facilities?

Yes, there will be toilets, including accessible toilets, located around the site.

Can I use a credit or debit card? And what about cash?

The following payment methods will be accepted at Fan Festival concession stands:

Food and drink 🍟

Can I bring food and drink with me?

You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink to the Fan Festival, including alcohol, but you’ll find plenty of concession stands offering various food and drink options. If you’re coming with children, baby food will be allowed.

What food and drink will be for sale at the Fan Festival?

🍕 You’ll find everything from sourdough pizza, burgers and sandwiches to fresh crêpes and sweet treats.
☕ Coffee and a range of soft drinks will be available at the concession stands.
🍺 If you’re over 18 years old, Heineken drinks will be served at the Fan Festival.

The food will be served in compostable packaging and recycling bins will be available on-site.

What languages will the menus at the Fan Festival be available in?

Menus at the Fan Festival will be available in English.
