RSC Anderlecht are to part ways with their recently appointed director general Alain Courtois next month.
Nine-month stint Courtois will leave the Brussels club on 1 October after a nine-month stint there, according to a statement on the Anderlecht website. A 51-year-old former public prosecutor, Courtois left his post as secretary general of the Belgian Football League to join Anderlecht.
UEFA Cup threat Anderlecht, third in the Belgian league after six matches, are in danger of an early exit from the UEFA Cup after a 1-0 home defeat by Norway's Stabæk IF in the first leg of their first-round tie last week.
