Ineligible for Europe
The 25-year-old has joined ahead of the restart of the Ukrainian season next month. However, Melaschenko will not be able to eligible to represent Dnipro in the remainder of their UEFA Cup campaign.
Great start
Melaschenko had been with Dynamo since 2001, after joining them from FC Vorskla Poltava. He made a great start, scoring 17 goals in his first 34 games for the club, but injury frustrated his career in Kiev. In total, Melaschenko played 56 domestic matches for Dynamo, scoring 19 goals.
