Castellazzi to give Sampdoria cover

Brescia relegated
Castellazzi, who has agreed a two-year contract, did not miss a game last season as Brescia were relegated from Italy's top flight. He had been with Brescia for six years, although he spent the 2002/03 campaign on loan at both Reggina Calcio and Catania Calcio.

Deputy's duties
At the Luigi Ferraris stadium, Castellazzi is expected to understudy veteran goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli. Sampdoria will play in the UEFA Cup after finishing fifth in Serie A last term.
