AS Roma have secured the services of teenage midfielder Ricardo Faty from relegated French club RC Strasbourg.
Sell-on fee
The Giallorossi have handed the 19-year-old Frenchman a five-year contract while paying Strasbourg €360,000 in compensation. Strasbourg will also receive ten per cent of any future transfer fee for a player with only seven Ligue 1 appearances to his name. Roma will enter the 2006/07 UEFA Cup after finishing fifth in Serie A last season.
